Ogura je leta 2019 debitiral v svetovnem prvenstvu Moto3 in se leta 2021 preselil v Moto2, kjer je leta 2024 osvojil naslov svetovnega prvaka Moto2. V MotoGP bo Ogura debitiral leta 2025 z ekipo Trackhouse Racing na tovarniškem dirkalniku Aprilia RS-GP.
